PRIVACY STATEMENT GREAT EXPATATION

Great Expatation considers your privacy very important. I will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, entirely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In this privacy statement I explain to you which data I collect from you and why I do this. You can also read in this statement what your rights are with regard to this processing. Article 1 Who am I?

Great Expatation is a sole trader, based in Amsterdam. I am registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 71195343. I am the controller of your personal data.

Article 2 What information do I use?

Here you can find an overview of the data that I process about you, why I do this, what legal basis I have to be allowed to process this data and how long I will keep this data.

I process your name, address, place of residence, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail and other data that are necessary to optimally deliver my services to you to enable the execution of the agreement. You can think of your passport details and birth certificate for immigration purposes, pay slips when I am looking for a home for you and driver's license when I arrange matters concerning a car for you. I use this data to make you a satisfied customer during the term of our agreement. I delete this information after the end of our agreement.

For invoicing and financial administration, I process your name or that of your contact person, any company name, billing address, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, customer number, telephone number, e-mail, bank details and outstanding balance. Without this information I cannot process the payment. According to a legal obligation of the Tax Authorities I have to keep this information for 7 years. I keep invoices for digital services for 10 years.

Great Expatation has a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. I process your name, e-mail, telephone number and social media account for direct marketing and social media marketing. I will remove this data as soon as you unsubscribe from my newsletter or indicate that you no longer want to be contacted by me.

To make this website possible and to optimize it, I use analytics and retargeting services. I have a commercial interest in using your surfing behavior and related data to analyze my service and improve it where necessary. I will track your use of my website with Google Analytics and a Facebook Pixel and am hereby bound by the Google and Facebook retention periods.

These services use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of information that are sent to your browser when you visit my website and are then stored on the hard disk or in the memory of the device with which you visit my website. These cookies will not damage your devices.

Facebook also collects target group statistics by means of a first party cookie. With this data I can place more targeted advertisements. These cookies are active for two years. However, the data collected by Facebook using this cookie is passed on to me anonymously.

To make it possible to post reviews about my services, I process your name, age, country of origin and content of your message. And when you want to contact me via the website, I ask for your name and e-mail. By placing your message or sending the contact form, this information becomes visible to me. I can post reviews about my services on my website for commercial reasons and I will remove them if they are no longer representative of my services or if you request them. I remove the data from a sent contact form as soon as the contact question has been completed, unless an agreement ensues from this.

Article 3 How do I obtain this information?

I have obtained the above information from you as a customer or website visitor, because you have provided this information to me. In addition, it may be that I have obtained your data through your employer, broker or one of my other cooperation partners.

Article 4 What rights do you have with regard to this data?

The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights with regard to the personal data that you have had processed by me.

1. View - You can make a request to view your data at any time.

2. Change - If you want to have your data adjusted, corrected, supplemented, screened off or deleted on the basis of access, you can request this.

3. Objection - You can object to the processing of your data.

4. Data transfer - If you wish to transfer your data to another provider, I will provide your data in a structured and current form that can be opened by conventional digital systems.

5. Withdrawal - If I have processed data on the basis of your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This can have consequences for the services that I can provide.

To make use of your rights you can send a request to info@greatexpatation.com. I will review your request as quickly as possible. If I cannot meet your request, I will let you know why I reject your request.

Article 5 Who receives your information?

I will not provide your information to third parties unless this is necessary for business operations or is required by law. Your data can be passed on to processors and parties involved in the implementation of our agreement prior to the execution of the agreement. I conclude processing agreements with these third parties to optimally protect your privacy. I will not resell your data to third parties.

Article 6 Final provisions

I advise you to consult this privacy statement regularly, because I can make changes to the policy.
